Mojito

Ingredients:

  • Fresh Lime
  • Fresh Mint
  • Havana Club Rum
  • Simple Sugar Syrup
  • Soda Water

Methods:

  • Muddled
  • Stirred

Glassware:

  • Highball

Garnish:

  • Mint Spring, Lime Wedge

What to do:

Fill a highball glass with crushed ice
  • 60ml Havana Club
  • 30 Simple Sugar Syrup
  • 5 Lime Wedges
  • 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Crushed Ice
  • Top up with Soda Water
Put Lime wedges and Simple sugar syrup in a Boston glass and muddle. Put the Mint leaves in the palm of your hand and slap them one or twice (very important: do not tear or muddle the mint, it is  bitter inside and the end result is going to look like swamp water). Add the Rum and Crushed ice and churn 10 times with a bar spoon. Transfer the contents into a high ball glass top up with crushed ice and soda.
