Responsible Conduct of Gambling

All club secretaries and hoteliers, as well as staff involved in gaming related functions on licenced premises are required to complete an approved Responsible Conduct of Gambling course before commencing employment.

The benefits of adopting a responsible attitude to the conduct of gambling include: an ethical environment in which to socialise and work, a change in focus from the promotion of gambling to the promotion of quality service and facilities and a reduction in the social problems associated with gambling abuse.

The course includes a comprehensive workbook and a VETAB-accredited certificate is issued following attendance and after successful completion of a short test.
