To obtain a job on a building or construction site in NSW it is a requirement that everyone holds a current Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, or “Construction Green Card” as it is known in the Industry. The certificate is compulsory for each person as proof of completion of the "OHS General Induction for Construction Work" training.
This course satisfies the legal requirements for General OHS Construction Induction for construction workers in NSW. This course is often referred to as the ‘Green Card' safety course or the 'White Card' safety course.
OHS induction training in the construction industry is required under the NSW OHS regulation 2001 - Clause 213, 214 & 215.
